Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Planivex (“we,” “us”) collects when you use the Planivex website and software, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

You give us

• Account details: email address, password (stored securely as a hash by our sign-in provider), company name, and the email addresses of team members you invite.
• Your workspace: formulas, ingredients, suppliers, quotes, batches, lots, inventory, prices and other records you add. When you import a spreadsheet or supplier SDS, the file is read in your browser and only the data you choose to keep is saved.
• Billing: plan, billing interval and payment status. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Messages: anything you send us through the contact form or in-app Help.

Collected automatically

• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, recorded by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
• Error reports: when something breaks in your browser, we record the error message, the page and your browser version so we can fix it.
• Cookies and local storage: used to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and keep a copy of your workspace on your device so it opens quickly.
• Advertising measurement: on our public website (not inside your workspace), we use the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel to learn which ads bring people to Planivex. It records pages visited and actions like starting a trial or subscribing, and Meta and TikTok may use cookies to connect this to your accounts with them. We never send your formulas, workspace data, or the contents of forms to either. You can turn this off with “Turn off ad cookies” in our cookie notice, and we automatically turn it off if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. You can also manage ad settings in your Meta and TikTok accounts.

How we use it

• To run the Service: sign you in, save and sync your workspace, generate documents and enforce team permissions.
• To bill you and manage your subscription.
• To answer support requests and send important account messages (sign-in links, receipts, security and policy notices).
• To keep the Service secure, find and fix bugs, and improve features.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your formulas or business data to market to anyone else. The only data shared for advertising is the website activity described above, which you can turn off.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run Planivex, under contracts that limit their use of your data:

• Supabase — database, file storage and sign-in
• Vercel — website and app hosting
• Stripe — payments and invoices
• Meta Platforms and TikTok — advertising measurement on our public website (see above)
• Cloudflare (cdnjs) and Google Fonts — deliver code libraries and fonts to your browser

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy continues to apply to your data).

Team workspaces

If you join a company’s workspace, its owner and admins can see your name, email, role and the changes you make there. The company controls that workspace’s data.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted by row-level security so each company can only reach its own workspace. We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after it ends so you can come back or export it, then delete it, unless we must keep certain records (such as billing records) by law.

Your choices and rights

• You can view, edit and download your workspace data (a full backup or CSV files) at any time from the app.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us or emailing hello@planivex.ai. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, and we’ll honor them as the law requires.
• You can opt out of non-essential emails using the link in those emails. Account and security emails can’t be turned off while your account is open.

Children

Planivex is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

International users

Planivex is operated from the United States, and your information is processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

Changes

If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
